With the current COVID pandemic, one's health should be priority now more than ever. While there are simple things to help prevent catching COVID - washing your hands, avoid shaking hands, don't touch your face and keeping your distance from others; the other impacts aren't as simple. Many are facing economic challenges causing concern in paying bills and buying groceries. The weight of the many challenges can cause anxiety, stress, depression and tension.
While everyone copes differently, some of the following practices may help you physically and mentally: Exercise - do what you enjoy, keep it simple and just move! Meditate - allow yourself a mental break. Massage - Have a family member massage your neck, back, shoulders or feet to help with that muscle tension. Soak in a warm/hot bath - help those muscles relax even more!
